Family Night at Classic Skating

So I know what you are all thinking, Classic Skating? But seriously it was so much fun!! The kids had such a blast. At first it was so weird to skate again especially since it had been since junior high years. But once those skates were on it was like old time!!

Maddi did pretty well for her first time!

McKay was determined to try at all cost!





I love that they allow strollers on there that way we could skate and just push the kids!

I have been so bad....at posting

So I have been so bad at posting and taking pictures lately. But here are few things that have been going on.

This is so funny McKay wanted to help this lady ring up the grocery's at "the store" (that's what the grocery store is called) but then he got all shy when she was holding him. It was cracking me up. He keep putting his head into her chest...... Um is that a sign of this to come with him? Maddi's first "real hair cut" Can you believe I have gone three years without cutting her hair. I had her bangs cut once but not her hair. Wow!

At the same time McKay got his Hair cut! He wasn't as good or should I say cooperative as Maddi was! Oh Well!

So anyone who knows Graham knows he is a huge BYU fan and I am thinking that our kids will be too. Of course Graham and his parents have season tickets but not for his wife or kids but thank goodness that my friend Tris has some. We decided to take the kids to the game. They had so much fun! They were walking down chanting "B.Y.U"

Notice that Tris is wearing Red to the BYU game.. I think secretly she is a UofU fan! Thanks Tris for letting us come with you guys!

While we were eating out for my sister in law's birthday Maddi said"mom ask the waitress to take my picture" She held this pose probably for five mins before she took the picture!

Things we have been up to lately....

Maddi had her first sleep over tonight! She loves playing with her friend Camry. Camry really wanted to come up and play with Maddi and have a sleep over. I am new to the whole sleep over thing so I don't really know what to do but I think they had fun. They made Pizza....

They went swimming. I should say Camry went swimming and Maddi stayed on the floaty and watch her swim!

They wanted to watch Graham and his friends play tennis. They actually played really will together and both were worn out by the time they went to bed!

My brother and I took out my mom for lunch for her 60th birthday!!!

I threw my mom a surprise birthday party for her big 60th birthday!

I have been practicing making new bows for Maddi, here are some that I have done, hopefully I will get better with time! I bought a bow like this and then tried to copy it, I think it turned out really cute pretty close to what I have.
