Family night and My little pony party

For family night Graham and I decided to take the kids to the Mayan for dinner. This was the BEST idea ever! I love that they play loud music and provide entertainment. My kids were so good the entire time. I don't remember the last time I was able to enjoy a meal at a good pace and not feel so anxious with my kids.

Maddi's friend Brynlee Prince was so sweet to invite her to her "My little pony" party. Maddi had such a great time. Each of the girls received a little pony to take home and Maddi sleeps with it every night! This is her little pony sticker. She is very proud of it!

How fun is this. Each girl got to take a ride on a horse at the party.

If you notice Maddi has the bat backwards! I heard it is pretty effective this way!

Friends from Moscow

Some of our friends that went to Law School with Graham were in town. It was so fun to see them. Law school was one of our best experience we meet so many neat people and great friends for life! Thanks Deanne and Patrick for a great evening! ( I know I look like I am taller than Graham but that is because I am wearing three inch heels and he is in sandels! )

The results are in.....

Yeah for Maddi she made Mirco Starburst!!! Yeah!! Today we got the letter from the Dance Club telling us whether she made it or not. I didn't think I would be so anxious and excited and nervous all at the same time. It really was so funny that I was feeling that way. I was so gitty all day. I couldn't believe how excited I was. Maddi of course doesn't understand what is going on, it was more for me ( like I had made the team or something) Congrats Maddi! We love you!

Dance Team Auditions

Tomorrow Maddi will be trying out to be on the Mirco Starburst team. It is so cute to watch them all as they try to remember there dances and combos accorss the floor. They seem so little but yet mature at the same time. It is so fun to watch Maddi dance I feel like I just smile the whole time.

Tonight the owner of the studio had a talk with all the parents and something she said really hit me. She told of a lady that lived in Ogden who drives down to Orem so her daughter could take at the dance club. Her daughter is on Company and comes four to five times a week and practices about four to five hours at a time. Someone asked the mother why she does that and she responded that she loves that time in the car that she gets to spend with her daughter and that it has gone by so fast and then she wont have that time again. Sheryl( told the story a lot better, it almost brought tears to my eyes) but the point was to cherish the moments we have with our kids and to look at the positive and be positive.

Maddi is too young to even know that she is trying out for a team but if she doesn't make it I think that will be just fine, she can always try out again next year. I think it is so important to be positive for our kids and always make them feel no matter what that they are the best!

Florida Vaction

We had so much fun in Florida. Our resort was amazing, we were five mins. away from Disney land and Universal Studios. We Played tennis almost every morning and had some lessons. We were able to play on Clay courts which was so nice. Easy on the joints. We went to Universal, Wet N' Wild and Islands of Adventure. We layed out by the pool and did some shopping (well graham did most of it) and we ate at some really fun restaurants. We had so much fun just hanging out with each other and just doing whatever. We sure did miss our kids we were so excited to see them when we came home. Thanks so much to my mom who made it possible for us to even go. Your the best!! I sure do appreciate you taking care of my kids! I love you!

So, I am not really a person who enjoys ride but I didn't want Graham do go by himself so I did my very best to ride most of the rides, expect this one. I sat down and then sat right back up and left. I don't think Graham was to happy to being riding this by him self. But I don't think I could of done it! Too Scary for me.

I did go on the incredible Hulk. I wish you could see my face. I was so scared! I thought I was going to wet my pants!

Okay so Graham's passport did NOT come today like promised, actually it was promised on Friday. So we had to cancel our Cancun trip--lose our money!! And now I am so frustrated!!!!!! Because we had this week planned out we decided to book another trip. Where could we go that would be warm... well Hawaii, but we have been there already a few times, California, no we go there a lot too. Graham finally decided he would really like to go to Orlando Florida. So now we are off to Florida tomorrow. Oh yeah we had to purchase new airline tickets. Glad he turns thirty only once.
